Why I'm torn on this
Stylish design and comfy beds. The breakfast experience was quite good, ensuring a bright start to my mornings.
The lack of air conditioning made sleeping uncomfortable during the warmer weather. I also faced issues with the shower drainage, causing water pooling on the floor.

The hotel was fairly clean and had affable and accommodating staff in a very fast paced manner. The room was good sized with a baby cot for our baby when upgraded. A train station near the venue was really handy.
Facilities were great, though Wi-Fi was very poor.

The room had a nice appearance, making us feel comfortable during our stay. We found it clean and well-maintained, which is essential after a long day exploring the nearby attractions like the Museum of Art and Crafts Hamburg and CHOCOVERSUM Chocolate Museum, both a manageable walk away. The morning breakfast offered a good variety that was enjoyable. the consistent issue with the shower drainage left us with puddles on the floor, which was inconvenient. the lack of room phones made communication a hassle.

The room design is family-oriented with unique, whimsical decor elements that add character. Breakfast options are engaging.
Several factors could really use some work here. There's no air conditioning, which can seriously dampen comfort during warm weather. Showers are on the smaller side and the drainage isn't great, leading to water pooling on the floor-definitely something that needs fixing. Limited hot water and missing in-room amenities, like a fridge and coffee-making facilities, left a lot to be desired. The surrounding area feels a bit rough at night, which could raise safety concerns for solo travelers. Lastly, street noise can be bothersome. Sounds from the night can carry right into the room.

The two very nice and attentive reception girls. Plus one of them spoke Spanish. They attended us with a smile and solved all the doubts we had. The waiting room of the hotel is very cosy and comfortable. With sofas and large windows. It also has a tabletop computer with internet connection that can be used freely and for free. A good detail if you have to wait for something. In other hotels there is a room or small room where all the clients' suitcases are kept, but in this hotel there are individual lockers that each one manages in their own way. You deposit one euro as a deposit and you keep the key to the locker. If you travel with standard suitcases it's almost the same, but if you carry some delicate package it's much better, because where you leave it you know that nobody else is going to put anything and it won't break. Very practical, I think it's a great idea. The room was very good. It had a modern style. Next to the cafeteria there was a small children's playroom. A nice touch if you travel with small children.
The design of the kids' bunk beds was nice and very modern, but I personally found it impractical because it had two stairs to climb and took up too much room. The shower was very clean, but a bit small and claustrophobic. Maybe that would be the only but.

Amazing hotel with free Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, and a bar/lounge area. On my first stay, the staff helped me with directions to attractions. I highly recommend trying the breakfast buffet! I'm coming back for a holiday.

The best thing: the reception staff who were there the night we arrived (Thursday 24/08, around 10pm). We were attended by a girl who spoke Spanish (Patricia), super nice and who explained everything perfectly. Afterwards we had a problem with the cancellation of one of the rooms and we went back down to Reception, where the other colleague from Reception (I think his name was Ole) solved it for us quickly and with great efficiency. . We also had a sandwich at the bar, where the waitresses were also very nice, despite the fact that we ordered almost at kitchen closing time (almost 11pm). The location is good, close to the Berliner Tor station.
First of all, I don't know if it was a problem with the location on Maps, Google was directing us to another direction that was much further away, in fact the Hotel is only a few meters away from the Berliner Tor station. Although the hotel is modern, bathroom is very austere, curtains were dirty and room does not have a minibar. We also found it expensive, like 110 euros room/night, although it is true that all Hamburg is expensive.

Just a proper fit for a fleeting pause in Hamburg with good value for price. The room was gorgeous and brand new. Take the subway if traveling with luggage to ease the walk.

I liked that the hotel was very closed to the center of the city. The rooms were nice and clean. Friendly service at check in and check out.
I thought that the breakfast was too expensive!
